The USDA reported a private export sale of 120,000 MT of soybean meal for 2026/27 to unknown destinations this morning.
The weekly Export Sales report, to be released on Thursday, is expected to show old crop soybean sales of 350,000 to 800,000 MT for the week ending March 12, with new crop sales estimated at 0 to 100,000 MT. Soybean meal sales are projected between 150,000 and 350,000 MT, with estimates ranging from net reductions of 20,000 MT to net sales of 22,000 MT.
According to an Allendale survey, soybean planted acreage is estimated at 85.66 million acres, up 4.46 million acres year-over-year. The USDA will release its March planting intentions report on the 31st.
