Palm Oil Imports Expected to Reach 14-Year Low in January
★ According to sources, palm oil imports in January could reach 2.72 lakh tons, marking the lowest level since March 2011.
★ Soybean oil imports are expected to rise by 4%, reaching 4.38 lakh tons, while sunflower oil imports could increase by 9.5% to 2.9 lakh tons.
★ Overall, total oil imports from September are expected to decrease by 15.6%, falling to 10 lakh tons.
★ Due to high palm oil prices, imports of other oils such as soybean and sunflower oil have increased.
