News Capsule: Rain likely in Bihar on March 10; lightning and hail possible in 5 districts
★ According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather in Bihar is expected to remain mostly dry and warm over the next week. However, on March 10, light rainfall accompanied by lightning is likely at one or two places in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnea and Katihar districts. Wind speeds may reach 30–40 km per hour during this period.

Weather conditions to change in Jharkhand
★ Weather conditions are also expected to change in Jharkhand. On March 7 and 8, some areas in the eastern and northeastern parts of the state may experience light rain with thundercloud activity. On March 9, there may be partly cloudy skies with chances of thunder at a few places.
★ From March 10 onward, the weather is likely to turn dry again, with clear skies and no significant chances of rainfall. The Meteorological Centre has not issued any weather warning at present.
