Domestic Wheat Market
On Jan 9, Delhi wheat prices rose to ₹3270 per quintal.
Prices increased across all markets due to weak selling and rising demand.
In the 6th OMSS tender, 0.97 lakh tons of wheat sold out of 1 lakh tons offered.
State-wise sales per quintal: Assam ₹3099-3330, Haryana ₹3050-3180, Jharkhand ₹3002-3102, Punjab ₹3010-3195, Odisha ₹3006-3309, Rajasthan ₹3083-3210.
Sales above ₹3000 per quintal and high tender approvals impacted the market.
It remains to be seen if the government increases allocated sales in upcoming tenders.
