International Soybean Market Update
This morning, the USDA announced a private export sale of 120,000 metric tons of soybeans for 2024/25 shipment, with the destination currently unknown.
On Friday, the USDA will release multiple reports. Trade analysts predict a slight decrease in U.S. soybean yield, down 0.1 BPA to 51.6 BPA. Production is expected to decline by 8 million bushels to 4.453 billion bushels, despite an anticipated slight increase in harvested acreage compared to the November report.
The weekly export sales report will also be published on Friday, as government offices will be closed on Thursday due to a national day of mourning for former President Carter's funeral. Markets will close early on Thursday at 12:15 CST.
