Forecasts now suggest a less threatening weather outlook for the U.S. Rainfall of at least one inch is expected from the Northern Plains to the Eastern Corn Belt over the coming week, though some areas of Illinois and Indiana may receive more scattered totals.
Export sales data will be published on Thursday morning. Traders expect soybean sales for 2024/25 shipment to range between 200,000 and 600,000 metric tons. New crop sales for the week of June 19 are estimated between 0 and 150,000 metric tons.
Soybean meal sales are estimated between 100,000 and 650,000 metric tons, with net reductions of 10,000 metric tons to net sales of 34,000 metric tons.
The June Acreage Report will be released Monday, and traders expect soybean planted area to total 83.5 million acres this spring — matching the March Planting Intentions Report. Estimates range from 82 to 85 million acres.
