From April to December 2024, oil meal exports decreased by 10%.
Soybean meal exports peaked in December 2024 at 278,000 tons, the highest for the period, while the lowest was recorded in September 2024 at 59,000 tons.
Total soybean meal exports from April to December 2024 reached 1.485 million tons, up from 1.21 million tons during the same period in 2023.
There was a decline in exports of mustard cake, rice bran extraction, and other meals. In December 2024, mustard cake exports were at their lowest for the period, with 88,000 tons.
Mustard cake exports from April to December 2024 amounted to 1.41 million tons, a drop from 1.823 million tons in the previous year.
Castor meal exports reached 226,000 tons in the April to December period, down from 296,000 tons last year.
Oil meal exports in December 2024 were at 398,000 tons, while during the same period in 2023, it was 3.496 million tons.
Soybean meal export prices were the lowest during the season at $363/ton, leading to increased exports due to lower prices.
Mustard cake prices were $270/ton, and castor meal prices were $81/ton, with mustard cake prices reaching their lowest in several months.
