Pea Market Remains Quiet, Prices Unchanged
Old yellow peas are trading at $8–8.5 per bushel delivered at farm, while new crop prices are at $7–8 per bushel.
Demand for green peas remains weak. #2 quality is priced around $10 per bushel FOB farm, while new crop is trading at $8–8.5 per bushel.
Canada is still waiting for demand from China, while exports to India have declined.

Exports in January dropped by 34% compared to December. Due to ongoing conflict, export parity remains high.
Farmers may increase lentil and pulse sowing due to concerns over urea shortages.
Large green lentils are priced at $0.24 per pound FOB farm, with new crop at $0.25 per pound. Small green lentils are trading at $0.18–0.19 per pound, while new crop is at $0.20–0.21 per pound. Red lentils are priced at $0.25 per pound, with new crop at $0.21 per pound.
Weak exports may lead to higher carryover stocks of lentils and peas in Canada.
