Canada Market Update
Peas: Yellow Steady, Green Holds Premium

★ Ending stocks for both yellow and green peas are balanced.
★ Russia continues to supply feed peas to China, but unless quality improves, alternate markets could tighten.
★ Following China’s March tariff announcement, buying remains uncertain. Trade hasn’t stopped, but the risk is real and could affect prices.
★ In India, yellow pea prices have softened.
★ Old and new crop yellow peas are priced similarly, while green peas still maintain a price spread.
