बेनापोल पोर्ट से 2,100 टन चावल का आयात

★बांग्लादेश के प्रमुख स्थलीय बंदरगाह बेनापोल पोर्ट के माध्यम से छह दिनों में कुल 2,100 मीट्रिक टन नॉन-बासमती मोटा चावल आयात किया गया।

★यह आयात 27 जनवरी से 17 फरवरी के बीच किया गया।

★सरकार ने 18 जनवरी को 232 आयातक कंपनियों को कुल 2,00,000 मीट्रिक टन चावल आयात करने की अनुमति दी थी। आयात और विपणन की अंतिम तिथि 3 मार्च निर्धारित की गई है।

★पिछले छह दिनों में 58 ट्रकों के माध्यम से 2,100 टन मोटा चावल भारत से आयात किया गया।

★बेनापोल पोर्ट तक चावल की लागत लगभग Tk 50 प्रति किलोग्राम रही।

★पिछले वर्ष अगस्त से नवंबर के बीच चार महीनों में इसी बंदरगाह से 6,128 मीट्रिक टन चावल आयात किया गया था।

2,100 Tonnes of Rice Imported Through Benapole Port

★A total of 2,100 metric tonnes of non-basmati coarse rice have been imported through Benapole Land Port, Bangladesh’s largest land port, over a period of six days.

★The imports were carried out between January 27 and February 17.

★On January 18, the government granted permission to 232 importing firms to bring in a total of 200,000 metric tonnes of rice, setting March 3 as the deadline for ★completing the imports and marketing the rice in Bangladesh.

★Over the past six days, 2,100 tonnes of coarse rice were transported from India in 58 trucks.

★The import cost up to Benapole Port stood at approximately Tk 50 per kilogram.

★Previously, during the four-month period from August to November last year, 6,128 metric tonnes of rice were imported through the same port.
