  • Rice Stock: The stock of rice rose from 280.28 lakh tons to 290.92 lakh tons, reflecting better procurement and supply.
  • Wheat Stock: Wheat stock fell from 206 lakh tons to 184.11 lakh tons, primarily due to regular sales under the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS).
  • Paddy Stock: Paddy stock grew from 351.29 lakh tons to 476.28 lakh tons, showing an increase in procurement and milling.
  • Coarse Grains: Coarse grains stock decreased slightly from 2.22 lakh tons to 1.82 lakh tons.

  • Rice stock increased by 109.16 lakh tons.
  • Wheat stock increased by 20.58 lakh tons.

Ongoing procurement of Kharif paddy is expected to continue boosting rice stocks, while wheat stock is expected to decrease further due to continued sales under OMSS.
