FranceAgriMer estimates that as of October 13, France’s soft wheat crop was 27% planted, higher than the previous week. The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange rated 90% of Argentina’s wheat crop in good to excellent condition but warned of colder weather next week. Their production estimate remains at 22 million metric tons.
Algeria purchased a total of 400,000 metric tons of wheat in its recent tender. Ukraine’s wheat exports since July 1 have totaled 5.6 million metric tons, down 21% from the same period last year.
