According to the report of Empob, during May 2025, the export of palm oil products from Malaysia jumped to 13,87,236 tonnes, which was 25.62 percent more than the export of April. In fact, for the last several months, the price of palm oil was running above soybean oil and sunflower oil, due to which its demand in importing countries had weakened. After this, when the prices started softening there, the export performance started improving. In May, Malaysia's import of palm oil from abroad also increased to 68,971 tonnes, which was 18.32 percent more than the imports of April.
