New Delhi. Informed traders say that the price of cumin will remain strong for now. Because on one hand, sowing is getting delayed due to high temperature in the major producing state of Gujarat. Apart from this, due to low prices, export demand is going well. According to the data released by the Fees, in September 2024, 17,433 tonnes of cumin was exported, whereas in September 2023 last year, only 7,196 tonnes were exported. Currently, the business sentiment in the market has become bullish. Due to which the prices may increase further. In the futures market also, today the price of cumin November closed at Rs 170 and the price of December closed at Rs 230.
